The three sisters from the Emmaus, PA community , currently a dependent
priory of St. Joseph Monastery, St. Marys, PA intend to individually transfer
stability to Emmanuel Monastery, Baltimore, MD. Sisters Martina Revak and
Kathy White related their discernment process. The sisters will continue to live
together as community as long as possible in Emmaus after the transfer.

Queen of Heaven Monastery, Warren, OH, an independent monastery of the
Byzantine rite, has asked to become a dependent monastery of Sacred Heart
Monastery, Lisle, IL. Sisters Judith Ann Heble and Agnes Knapik shared their
experiences and conversations. Each community had many common
experiences with one another. All but two of the sisters from Queen of Heaven
Monastery had previously been members of the Lisle Community. Sister Agnes
shared how important their Byzantine heritage was in this process.

Sister Anne Shepard shared the experience of the merger between Red Plains
Monastery, Piedmont, OK, and Mount St. Scholastica, Atchison, KS. Sister Anne
shared some of the insights forwarded to her from Sister Jan Futrell who was
unable to be present at the pre-chapter.

Transfiguring Realities
A panel discussion lead by Sister Marilyn Carpenter (Colorado Springs)
reported on three communities that are changing or are in the process of
changing their structures.
